Los Angeles · Sep 2025 – Present- Launched Parkzy from zero to a live App Store product (4.9★, 2,400+ downloads) as sole engineer: React 18/TypeScript/Supabase across web, iOS, and Android via Capacitor, 490 SQL migrations, and 3,989 commits in the first year
- Designed the real-time 'ping' dispatch system, where one tap fans out to nearby hosts who accept from the lock screen, and lifted acceptance from 16% to 45% while cutting expiry from 70% to 36% through instrumented lifecycle fixes
- Defined three production SLOs and wired burn-rate alerts into Slack, backed by Prometheus and Grafana dashboards and an on-call runbook, then moved the pricing service onto Kubernetes where an HPA scaled it from 1 to 5 pods under 754 requests per second
- Assembled an internal-docs RAG pipeline that answers with citations from pgvector retrieval, then measured it against a golden set: 0.97 hit@8 in 47 ms, 0.93 judged faithfulness, and correct refusal on questions the corpus cannot answer

Los Angeles · Dec 2024 – Aug 2025- Led a 5-person team building StudyBuddy, a tutoring marketplace for USC students, on React/TypeScript with a Supabase (Postgres) backend, covering booking and scheduling, Stripe Connect payments, and Zoom-integrated sessions across tutor, student, and admin roles
- Layered a GraphQL gateway over Postgres and Stripe Connect with per-request DataLoader batching and depth limits, cutting a representative nested query from 121 database round trips to 4, constant as the result set grows
- Implemented university sign-on on OAuth 2.0 with PKCE plus a scraper that ingested each semester's course catalog, and made it usable with a screen reader and at high zoom (WCAG 2.1 AA), fixing all 7 failing pages
WalmartSoftware Engineer II (Full-Stack)
Sunnyvale · Aug 2021 – May 2023- Developed 10+ features for Converse Self Serve, Walmart's Dialogflow conversational-AI platform behind 66M+ AI-assisted customer contacts
- Collaborated with a 4-person US/India team on a push-notification API for Walmart's Last Mile Delivery servers (4,700 stores, 90% of the US)
- Instrumented a CSAT feedback system that collected 6M+ customer ratings by March 2022
- Migrated 32 config features and 50+ testing tools from Cortex to Botmock, Walmart's newly acquired Self Serve platform
Projects
AzadiJob-pipeline system with a learned ranking model: sweeps 485 organization ATS boards on authoritative posting dates and enforces gates across 660 tracked roles. A pure-stdlib TF-IDF + logistic-regression ranker trained on 618 labeled decisions; a 5-fold cross-validated ablation showed the source board (AUC 0.705) predicts pursuit far better than the fit score (0.548).
Gosan →Native macOS DAW in ~10 days (~11,300 LOC): multitrack recording, MIDI, AudioUnit hosting, mixer, WAV export. A purpose-built benchmark harness profiled the real signal chain and surfaced three latent defects: missing plugin delay compensation shifting tracks 256 samples out of alignment, MIDI a median 5.3 ms late, and a heap allocation in the render callback.
